Register a Team for the Crawley Darts League

Thank you for your interest in joining the Crawley Darts League. We're always looking for enthusiastic teams to join our community of players. Whether you're an established team or looking to form a new one, this page will guide you through the registration process.

Team Requirements

Team Composition

  • Minimum of 8 registered players per team
  • Recommended to have 10-12 players to account for absences
  • Each team must have a designated captain and a secretary
  • Mixed teams are welcome (men and women)

Venue Requirements

  • Access to a suitable venue with at least one dartboard
  • Board must be in good condition and well-lit
  • Regulation height (5ft 8in to bull) and distance (7ft 9.25in)
  • A fixed Oche to throw from
  • Reasonable space around the board for players and spectators

Registration Fees

  • Team registration fee: £40 per season
  • In some cases, your venue might be willing to help you with this.
  • Fees must be paid by the registration deadline
  • Fee covers league administration, trophies, and website maintenance
  • Payment methods accepted: bank transfer, cash, or cheque

Important Note:

New teams will typically enter the A Division unless agreed otherwise by the committee. Promotion to the Premier Division is based on performance in the previous season.

Registration Process

  1. Download and complete the registration form

    Fill in all required information including team name, home venue, captain and secretary details, and all player information.

  2. Submit the completed form and pay registration fees

    Send the form to the League Secretary by email or in person. Pay the registration fees via bank transfer or in person at a committee meeting.

  3. Attend the pre-season captains' meeting

    Each team must have a representative at the captains' meeting where fixtures, rules, and other important information will be discussed.

  4. Confirm your team's details

    Review and confirm your team's information on the league website once published.

About the Crawley Darts League

The Crawley Darts League has been running for over 25 years and is one of the most established and competitive darts leagues in the area. We offer:

  • League Format: Two divisions (Premier and A Division) with promotion and relegation
  • Match Format: Friday evenings, featuring 3 doubles games and 6 singles games
  • Cup Competitions: Knockout cup competitions throughout the season
  • Special Events: Singles, pairs, and charity tournaments throughout the season
  • Awards: End of season presentation with trophies for division winners, cup winners, and individual achievements
  • Social Aspect: A friendly community of darts enthusiasts with regular social events

We welcome players of all abilities, from beginners to experienced county players. The league is designed to be competitive yet enjoyable, with a strong focus on sportsmanship and camaraderie.
